Winter's Glow - Yang to Yin
As winter settles in and the sunny days shorten, slow down a little, take some deep calming breaths and nourish your body with some yoga love and kindness. Join Miriam is this 2-hour Yang to Yin immersion to honour the season of Winter, cosy up indoors, become quieter and more still.
Winter is a time of rest, reflection and hibernation. Reset and restore your energy as you slow down, drop into quietude and take some time for yourself to rebalance your vital life essence. Winter is related to the water element, the most nourishing and essential substance for life.
We start with a gentle flow practice taking inspiration from water to invoke a sense of fluidity in our yoga practice, but also a sense of ease in our mind and heart. Followed by Yin Yoga giving us the opportunity to release and surrender into each pose, slowly and gently settling into our body. This is a time for introspection, as all the answers we seek are within us - we just have to be quiet enough to listen and be empty enough to be filled.
