Intro to Yoga - Stretch into Something New

Discover the foundations of yoga in this welcoming and supportive 90-minute beginner workshop designed for those new to the practice or looking to refresh their basics. This course offers a gentle introduction to essential yoga postures, breathwork (pranayama), and simple meditation techniques to help build strength, improve flexibility, and promote relaxation.

Each session includes:

  • A guided warm-up to prepare the body and mind

  • Step-by-step instruction on basic yoga poses (asanas)

  • Gentle flow sequences tailored for all levels of mobility

  • Breathing techniques to calm the nervous system

  • A closing relaxation or guided meditation (savasana)

No prior experience is necessary—just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore. Whether you're seeking stress relief, improved posture, or a mindful movement practice, this class is a great place to begin your yoga journey.
